A landscape in oils of a field full of bracken, under a hazy sky.

Landscapes taken from the woodlands and open spaces of Dartmoor, Kenya and Shropshire. Working with charcoal, graphite and oils, Ben Oelmann’s work draws on textures and patterns found in wooded landscapes. Much of his work is monochromatic drawing although more recent paintings employ a limited palette of earth colours.
